One of the most important things that we do is help bring awareness to mental illness, shining a light on the capability, creativity and talents of various artisans who participate in timeless treasures boutique’s. Timeless Treasures boutiques is helping to dispel the stigma associated with mental illness. We are proud to teach each of artisans, whether they are associated with NAMI OC or not, with dignity and respect. We love encouraging the general public to interact with NAMI OC artisans and to read NAMI OC publications. Of course, we also enjoy getting to know the wonderful and talented folks who comprise the NAMI OC creative artist guild! They have become our friends and are an Intercal part of the TTB family. It is our privilege to spend time with them, and to introduce their work to the public, providing an outlet for the wonderful creativity, coaching, mentoring, listening, laughing, spending time together to develop and market talent – these are the most important contributions we can make to each other.

When a friend or family member develops a mental health condition, it’s important to know that you’re not alone. Many Americans have experienced caring for a person with mental illness. 1 in 25 Americans live with a serious mental health condition. Family members and caregivers often play a large role in helping and supporting them. You may be trying to help a family member who doesn’t have access to care or doesn’t want help. Or you may want to learn how to support and encourage someone who has been hospitalized or experienced a similar mental health crisis.
