About Terra Vela

Started by Tonya Fernandez and Sean Olson as a way to do something together, that would also help bring in extra money during the recession, Natural Body & Bath was born in 2009. Tonya had been playing around, experimenting with candle making for years. So developing a natural candle line to go with the natural bath and body products her sister had been making for many years was a great fit. Selling them first at local farmers markets, then larger events, the candles just became more and more popular. With a focus more on the candles moving forward, the brand Terra Vela began. 

We always strive to make the best candle possible, hand blending and pouring ingredients of the highest quality, producing only in small batches with great attention to detail. We use 100% natural, biodegradable soy wax with all cotton wicks, with essential oils and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Our box is made of 100% recycled material.
